Beadlocks Or Bajas? [Archive]

Does anybody know why FMX adn freestylest put bajas on the front and bealocks in the back?? wouldn't it make more sence to put beadlocks all arround so they would have better traction??

Yea.. there rims that lock the bead so you can reduce air presure to get more traction

yea u kinda got it right.

Beadlocks mainly help to stop the rim from spinning inside the tire. with just regular rims the tire can come off due to this. They also help with running lower pressure like u said. And if u get a flat u can still finsih a race. the beadlocks are also much stronger than regular rims.

back to ur question. Do they really need better traction on the front tires when the ones with the power are the back ones.
