Need Help *Axle Nut*

Ok guys heres the deal i bought a lonestar axle for my 400ex and i put it all on and everything was fine the when i went to tighten the nut i turned the big nut out all the was and it comes off the threads b4 it hits the snap ring??? anyone kno y?

Are you should you got it all together right, no missing pieces? Maybe you have to buy Lonestars stuff instead of the original stock axle nut etc.
