MP3 Question

My sister just got this MP3 Player yesterday and we can't figure it out. I can get songs onto the player if the songs are already on the computer, like songs I downloaded, but how do I get songs that are on CD's onto the MP3 player? Whenever I put the cd in the CD-Rom, Windows Media Player pops up and I can't figure out a way to get the songs off of the CD onto the computer. Any Help?

When the window pops up that asks you whatg you want to do with the cd, instead of clicking play the cd using WMP, click rip music from CD using WMP. Then when the files are added to your library, put them on the sync list and put them on the player.

No screen pops up. As soon as I put the CD in the Drive it starts playing in windows media player. I have it to this screen, I clicked copy to CD or Device. On the left it says removable disk, which Is what I want, but on the right it doesn't say the CD? Do you have to add it to a playlist or something?

Get WMP9 then I can walk you through it.
