Coated pipe ?

Pappy what is that color/coating you did on rainmans pipe?

its just a flat/satin black

Obviously it holds up to the heat..will it protect and stay on well?

well we are gonna see how well she does:p

i contacted the manufacture, told them what i was going to do, and they said its within the limits of the coating. thermal breakaway is at 500c and no pipe ive tested comes close to being that hot. if it all works out, ill start doing pipes

Wow that is 932 degrees F!..that should hold up well...hmm keep us posted.
