I read in a magazine, it was an article on the last GNCC race in 05, I think William Yokely won it. neways.. And there was a mention in there about they cant wait to see Yokley on the LTR450 next season.

From what I've read the LTR seems alittle wide for GNCC. Wouldn't that be weird to buy a stock quad and have to get aftermarket narrower a-arms?

How many pros are running stock stuff anyways. Doesn't make that much difference I guess, nearly all MX riders buy aftermarket arms to make quads wider.

i would almost garentee some companys will produce like negative a-arms -1, -2 wherever they thing would make it best for xc

Yeah, Yokley won Ironman. It was awsome.

Also, they do look really wide for woods use. We Will See.

They can make narrower a-arms. I don't see why everyone thinks that is so weird. How is that weird, but it is fine to make wider ones? Zuki just catered to a different crowd ...

4/1 offset wheels and narrow up the rear and your set.

It's fine, just different after all these years of always buying + a-arms, you'll have to buy neg. sizes. It would be like buying parts to take some power away from your quad. Guess it is about time the oem stuff catches up to what the consumers want.

Yokley's LTR was at Roll Design before Chrstmas for design and fitment of chassis componets:)

That depends on what offset Suzuki used on the 450. The Z400 has like a 1.5-3.5 front offset. So you only lose 1/2" each side.

I dont follow GNCC to closely because when I started riding in Western Kansas we had no real trees or tight trails to go riding in. I now live in eastern kansas and my moto cross set up sucks to low to the ground and a little to wide not bad though.

But do any GNCC riders use plus 2inch a arms and just run 4-1 offset wheels.

usually gncc racers use a plus half inch or plus 1 a-arm with a 4+1 wheel

Really the courses are that narrow?

You really don't want to be any wider than 46" wide or lower than 8" on ride height for GNCC (or any trail riding for that matter).

Yokley likes to run his quad at about 43-45" wide so Roll will have negative A-arms out soon. Also ELKA will have shocks ready for the A-arms. ELKA and Roll work closely with each other, plus Yokley rides and tests for both companies.
