my old cr250r atc

he's a pic of my old 86 atc 250r with a cr250 dirtbike engine in it.
it was a bad beast when i had it.
total build cost was about $3000
mods
paul turner system
extended axle
ported and polished
bore 60 over
40mm carb with cr 250 twist
6 in west coast swinger
dura blu wheel spacers
moose handle bars.
it was pertty easy to install the engine.
the kicker was located forward alittle than a regular 250rs.
ran good until the bearing came loose in the crank and burst the case.
so i ended up buying another 250r engine for $700
and bolted it up in a hurry rode it for 5 min not knowing that i did not put the chain clamp on. As luck would have it the chain came off and tore that case and locked the tranny.
i was so mad:mad: and traded if for a remington 700 rifle
back in 2000. Yeah i miss it.:(

thats some sick s**t man. you shoule keep most of it stock, it will be worth more in the future...

those rear tires look a little skinny...almost like they are front tires. other wise looks good

what kind of tires are those rears, they look skinny. looks nice other than the tires, I love my trikes, especailly my mx atc250r, read my profile for the mods that are on it, it really cooks.

i dont remember what brand they where.
:D i bought them as extras set for $20 at a swap meet
when i raced it i used hoosiers.
