I now have enough money for an Axis rear shock. I have a stock 88 swingarm(for my R) and stock frame(88). Should i get the Single rate dual adj., or should i save up even more $, wait till next season, and get the no-link lobo rear end. Is it that much of a difference between no link and linkage? I heard the linkage keeps the power to the ground better????
Thanks

The no-link setup is more direct and you will feel more bumps than usaull. You gain travel from no-link but lose some traction. I'd get the axis dual rate comp adjust rear shock and ride it until you break the stock swingarm and then buy a gibson swingarm.

Just my .02

The Dual rate full adj, will work correctly with the stock swingarm??? Isnt the dual rate longer, and the rear will sit unusualy high?
Thanks

I just ordered The Axis Full adj single rate from K and K. They had one more in stock set for my weight. I am happy with the stock shock(even though its a pogo stick at the end of my races). With a shock that is not beat ill be able to go much faster.
Thanks 400exRacerX for all the input

Ok I remember now you have the Gibson setup. Those are sweet A-Arms. Well then I would wait and get a Gibson Swingarm too.

Im happy with the stock linkage,so ill just get the Gibson swingarm(eventually) setup for stock rear geometry. I think the axis shock will make a huge difference over the stocker.. hopefully
