my freinds ttr225 is NOT starting we got a new spark plug, changed the oil, cleaned the filter, charged the battery cleaned the carb but its not started and we have to have it started by tomrrow
wut could this be?

it has new gas...its sounds like it wants to start but just isnt

sounds like its a spark problem........... just because u have a new plug in there doesnt mean it getting spark.

how would i fix the problem with no spark tho?

take out the spark plug, then whith the cap on it, touch the end of the plug to one of the fins on the motor, if when you press the start button you do not see a spark, then it is electrical. i think though it is probably you carburator, tke the bowl off and clean the shiza out of it, make sure one of the jets are clogged. if none of this seems to help try push starting it. and not to be a dick head or anything but your gas is turned on....... right?

did you make sure the kill switch isn't turned off
