I wouldnt buy cheaper boots. If your feet get seriously hurt in an accident you are seriously screwed. Trust me, I shattered 8 bones in my foot and I was wearing decent boots. Not the best ones, but way better than $140 pair of boots. If I would have been wearing cheapies...Id be a lot worse off today and Im still limping and its been over 4 months since the accident. Id advise to get Tech 8s or Gaernes or something more along the $250-350 range

Altough more expensive isn't the best, especially with tech 10's, I had those for about 2 rides and I stopped wearing them. I'm glad I got those for free. Get Gaernes or Tech 8's. Besides a helmet, boots are your most important piece of equipment.

If you can go ahead and spend the big $$$ for some good boots but in your on a budget then any boot is better than tennis shoes or regular boots. Thor T30 boots are pretty good boots for around $130 . Also the Four ATV boots are under $100

i strongly recommend the thor t-30s, they are very comfortable and they last, if you are interested, i have a pair of white t-30s size 10, they have a few rides on em but they still look good..
reply if you are interested im lookin for 50 bucks, they retail $120

I have Fly Talons and they are good quality boots other than the straps are weak as hell. I already broke one on the first ride

I just use a pair of 8"or 10" steel toe work boots, they have never failed me yet, and i have gotten my legs caught inbetwen the tire and the nerf bar with them on before and i walked away

I was wearing those when i broke my leg at the track. A dirtbike landed on my ankle. The flaggers said if they knew i had that type of boot on i would not of been allowed to ride.

The break also wouldnt of been as bad.

Fox Trackers just might be the worst boots ever made... I had a pair... threw them in the trash when I got my tech 8's... You should be able to find some used a-stars or gaernes on e-bay.... DO NOT buy cheap boots man.... buying an ankle is way more expensive...

A cheap boot is better than no boot at all. Do not ride in work boots unless you like sprained ankles and broken bones. I use tech 6's. They are good and were only about $230. I understand about the money issue but alittle $ now will save alot later.

i have Thor Quadrant and they are real comfy and havent had a problem in about a year...the only bad thing i thought of them when i first bought them was why they have plastic fastners...but so far they haven broke.

after shattering my foot in 8 places...i know how much having a bad injury will affect your life. I had to drop college classes, I was stuck at home at all times, wasnt allowed to drive for a long time, drugged up on pain killers, and now I limp and hurt still and its been 4 1/2 months. My foot is worth a lot more than $140.... save your money and buy something of a better quality or get some used. Im not made of money but Im getting Tech 8s here in a couple days. Id rather be a little broke money-wise....then more broke bone-wise.
