Threads don't auto-subscribe anymore

Anyone else notice this? Whenever I used to reply in a thread, it would automatically subscribe me to it and it would show up in my user CP.

Now, that doesn't happen automatically anymore. I have to click the "subcribe to this thread" link at the bottom of a thread everytime if I want it to show up in my user CP.

Did something on the site change or is there a way I can change it back to how it used to be? Thanks for your replies :)

nothing has been purposley changed, i do know they have been working on the server tho
