edelbrock 450r carb [Archive]

I have done a search on this topic and found nothing great or informative. Has anybody installed this carb and if so how do they like it and what mods do you have with it? I looks like a great deal next to the fcr if they perform the same or similar.

From what I've heard and read, they're hard to get spot on when tuning. FCR's maybe more, but they're worth it more in the long run, even though I don't have one.

edelbrocks are extremely easy to tune. been using them for a few years on my 400 then 440 then 465 ex now the 450r I also had an nmotion 520 with it.

that said I have had problems with them but I have also had problems with the stock carb.

in my opinion It is a great power gain.
