I know it has been asked before but has anyone used 04/05 aftermarket LT A-arms on an 06 450r and how did it work for you.
I get my 06 next week and am starting to get my parts ordered. Any help would be great.
Thanks

If you have a 400ex they should work fine. I dont think that they changed anything on the frame.

Thats not what he asked:(
Yea long travel 04-05 arms will work fine on the 06 but you should use 04-05 spindles too..thats what I did.
I doubt all the A-arm manufactures are changing and building all new jigs to accomadate the few mm's changed on the new 06 bike. Most I bet will be selling there 04-05 and saying yea it will work all tho the geomoetry wont be correct with the 06.

exactly, and as long as you have adjustable uppers you can tune the 04/05 arms to proper settings to work with the 06 spindle

True
I didnt think of that but I dont have adjustable uppers so I had no choice.
05 Knuckles considerably cheaper than the 06's 55 bucks a piece cheaper retail

So if you have the adjustable uppers you can run the 04/05 a-arms. Right?
I have found some with 16mm of adjustability, that should work
Thanks

If you have 04-05 adjustable upper A-arms you can use the 06 Spindles.
You will be fine..

Yes, and I have a friend that makes them from stock a-arms and powder coats them too, pm for info, Z.
