just put a set of moose 1-1/8 flex bars on, look good, fit great-except theres not enough room on the brake side with this new 06 thumb trottle. my brake lever is on the curved part of the bar [just enough to angle it upwards]

i think its alot bigger than the 04-05

can i use a throttle assembly from the 04-05? or a terrycable or moose aftermarket?

anyone else have this prob w/ fat bars?

i have the same problem, there dirt bike bars. Just not enough room for the stuff on atv's. If you want, Trail Tech make bars for atv's and they lots of room to mount every thing.

they are full size bars, its just that the 06 450r has a new thumb throttle assembly.

its about twice the size of the standard honda from previous years.

it now has a wire along with the cable coming out of it, for a sensor. they didnt need to make it this big though, kinda stupid.

i just ordered a moose thumb throttle, i think its about the size of the 04-05 stock assemblies.

anyone using a moose thumb throttle or a terrycable throttle?
they look identical, terrycable prob makes them for moose.

same bars as ravage3000.
