I read elsewhere on the net that Travis Spader is going to be running the new Progressive single rate shocks on the front of his yfz450 for the 06' mx nationals. Considering I-Shocks theory on a single rate shock, seeing Laz at GT Thunder's progressive single rate front shock conversions, and the new "race ready" single rates on the new ltr-450 has got me thinking. Can a single rate shock with the correct valving and technology be effective in mx applications? How are you going to get a single rate shock on the front to sag like all of the currne

yes, you can run as many or as few springs as you want, as long as you have the correct valving for those springs, they will do just fine.
