why did you do all those mods and keep the ring around its neck with the airbox lid closed?
maybe he rides in sandy terrain...or maybe he has holes drilled

xc, you run a bike with a open air box through a crick 2 ft deep and rutted. have fun. I have almost drowned my bike with the lid on. I might drill holes.

A 195 main is way to rich. I have similar mods. Your jetting should be around a 175-180.

i had a 175 main in my bike and it actually slowed it down. the bike i compared it to i was beatin stock by about 3 bikes when i put the 175 in it he was beatin me it was lean poppin on top in. know with the 195 i am puttin bout 7 or 8 bikes on him

That's pretty strange. I got the best hp out of a 180 main jet. My A/F reading was best with a 165 main jet. I had pretty much everything you could do to the motor and I still was alittle on the rich side with a 165 main. Maybe you were getting those lean pops from your pilot being to small or your needle clip on the wrong position.

well i tried a everything up from a 175 and the 195 had the best trottle responce the best seat of the pants feel and when i raced the same fourwheeler with all the jets i beat him the worst with the 195. i have a 58 pilot jet so i dont think i am to lean down low. idont tune my fourwheeler by the plug either i do it a little different. im not sayin it the best way but my competition doesnt like it when they pull up next to me

I run a 13:1 piston, HRC cam, HRC lid, Full exhaust. My jetting is 195 main 50-52 pilot and the HRC needle. I have never had a water problem with the HRC lid.

I think I will put a 185 in it and see how it runs. what size pilot do you think I should run? and the needle at what postion. I can build a pre filter on to my lid, but for now I will leave the lid on

Try a 180 main first, 50 pilot, 3rd needle clip, 2 1/2 turns out on the a/f screw.

I would start with the 50 pilot. But I don't think you will have any luck running a 180 main with lid on, the motor will just not get enough air for that much fuel. I would run the needle in the third or fourth clip. I strongly recommend you get the HRC jet kit you will gain alot in the mid range

You should run a 50 pilot, HRC Needle in the 3rd from top, 160 main and 2.5-3 turns out on the mixture screw
