Did you guys use an exhaust hanger to secure the pipe to the motor mount bolt? My pipe mount is not lining up with the motor mount bolt so I'm assuming you have to use an exhaust hanger or ESR has welded the mount in the wrong spot?

I used the exhaust mount but I think I might have to weld the mount to the engine mount because the rubber flexes to much.

I used a hanger there also, It lined up perfectly with the hanger.

You should use a hanger anyways, the pipe should be able to float a little from the motor.

I agree with 350Roost......depending on how much that motor will move that pipe shouldn't be bolted solid......I've seen many pipes with that bracket welded back together......probably because of being bolted solid to the frame....I know you may have to clearance the water pump cover some...I know I had too.....but that was on mine yours may not need it.....

I just installed a ESR TRX 11 centermount pipe and it came with instructions & a spacer for 87-89 it shows using a stock mount it bolted on great on my 86 without the spacer.
