carb issues

I have a Artic Cat 300 with a mikuni carb it was starving for fuel,float bowl was empty so I cleaned with carb cleaner put it back together and it started right up and seemed to run fine.
After running about a minute it started blowing fuel out bottom of carb. Float bowl is tight and seal looks good and is still pliable.
Any Ideas?

Give it a little smack with the plastic handle end of a screwdriver. ;)

Sometimes when you clean the carb the float will stick in the open position. Give it a light whack. Will probably fix her right up.

If not.. check the float level setting. The dealer can tell you what the setting should be.

If neither of those fix it.. you may have a float valve going bad. Easy fix, and cheap replacement. ;) Very well may be since it was sticking closed before, and sticking open now.
