Hi all, im selling a used 2004 Honda CRF50F. several modifications have been made. they are... 88cc takawa kit with 12:1 compression forged piston. E22 big valve head (in. 21mm, ex. 23mm), CRF70F crank and rod (much heavier duty, but not stroked), Sik 50's race cam (lopes a bit when idling, but pulls like a 2 stroke), heavy duty double valve springs, heavy duty timing chain, high flow oil pump, heavy duty clutch (Still auto), takawa 20mm carb with jets, K&N clamp on filter, both cylinder head and crankcase vented, big gun rev box, gearing changed for more speed (44mph by my GPS unit), street tires, kenda with new set also, suspension built to hold 230lb rider (but not lifted), BBR high flow exhaust, carbon fiber skid plate.
i always run amsoil 10w-40 oil, and cam II 110 octane leaded race fuel. this engine will run at full throttle all day lond with zero problems. i built it for that purpose, and i have done it. i rode from confluence, PA to the top of Mt. Davis ( 17miles) on the streets with a friend chasing in a car. i averages 35mph, and cruised on the flats at 42mph, (yes, yes, i know it's not legal... however there are no cops out that way too often) i weigh 230lbs. thats not too shabby for an 88cc four stroke. i have a second set of street tires. mechanic owned and maintained. changed oil every 2 rides. mostly streets or dirt roads. has about 5 hours on most recent rebuild (described above). it's fast, it's torquey, and reliable. im selling because I have quads now. Have title, asking $1500, but negotiable of course. e-mail mdono103725@yahoo.com for questions or pix. Thankx
