what should i do?

what do you guys think i should do with a 5hp briggs motor. im rebuilding it all in school and then i want to put it in somthing. i was thinking putting it in a crf 50(if it would fit). i got a horizontal shaft because i want to put it in some kind of mini bike. what do you guys think would work best? also, anyone know the cc rating on a small motor like this.

a 3.5hp briggs is a 150cc...so a 5 should be around 250cc maybe

No, a 250 is huge! A 125cc is even huge, its like almost 2 inches I'd say.

for the CC's if you are doing it at school have the teacher teach you how to calculate the CC's.

it should say the CC on the bottom of teh jug or somewhere on the block. they do vary from brand to brand and even some years vary. like someone else said, a 3.5 horse is 148 cc's so i would say your 5 is in the 200-250cc range. i know where a cam is at that garauntees you 7 horse from the 5 horse block, a buddy of mine use to races go carts adn has some extra parts.
