I need some help, i am buying a 400ex with no top end, im and use to 2 strokes so i dont know much about the four stroke anatomy. please supply me a list of what i need to get a honda 400ex with no top end running reliably and possibly with more power then stock yet runing cheap pump gas. it is coming with a yoshimira exaust. So what all do i need? any upgrades i should get while the engine is apart? im not looking for much power.

Call Rich at Hetricks ,he is GREAT with explaining all the ins and outs on what you need, he sold us our 1st 426 kit two years ago and was very happy with the Kit I had on mine .You will like that Exhaust with mods

Also http://duncanracing.com/ it all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend also.

Anything more than an 11:1 you wont want to risk running pump fuel. He will be able to help you find what you need and what you want ouf of your quad. :)
