i have a esr 310 non pv motor with trx 7 porting,my question is does any one have this set up with a stroker crank,if so is it worth the money and does it wear on other engine components more than the set up i already have.does it make it alot faster,

I'm going to go ahead and delete the other thread, because it's basically the same question.

A stroker crank changes all your port timing. If you want to do a stroker crank properly, you really need to redo your cylinder, and often the original cylinder and porting can't be used.

I don't know the porting specs on the TRX 7 porting, so I don't know if it can be re-ported to work properly with the stroker crank, but most likely it can't. You usually need a blank canvas to start with, a cylinder that hasn't been ported. The details get complicated.

Now, a stroker crank with your existing TRX7 porting will run, but it certainly won't run at peak performance.
