These shocks dont look like Elka, Axis or Fox? are they maybe the new piggyback Axis? they sort of look like Works Black Widows.

custom axis that is Chris Borich's backup/practice quad and he let John race some GNCC's with it but it is the Axis with piggybacks the new ones ooolala:eek2:

axis, I cant belive elka not mad at him for running them, I deal with that kinda crap alot with contracts. "dont use or endorse any other competitors products"

wasnt this before he signed the contract

and on most of my contracts it says you have to notify them to gewt the ok

They are available now. Price is $1999.00 with the titanium springs and $1799.00 with steel. I just ordered a set from Derisi, so in about four to five week I should have them.

Heck ya, the things are very expensive, I have had a set on order since 12/2 so mine are suppose to be built and on there way so we will see. I got steel springs though, did you get the Ti?

those are fox with piggyback, because i saw them in a pic when they werent dirty.

I ended up getting the ti springs. Lucky for me I worked a whole lot of overtime this year.

yes they are axis piggybacks with ti springs. i looked at that bike he is riding in the picture at the ironman GNCC. they are the same shocks they used to win the 12 hours of america.

Lol I hear ya, they should be pretty nice though, I am just prayin that this guy at axis isn't jerking my chain, he told me they would be shipped out today. :rolleyes: I believe it when I receive my tracking number.

Correct, it was one of Borich's "extra" quads. John used it for training during the off-season, prolly before any new contracts were signed. Being Borich's quad and just training, I'm sure none of John's sponsors really had a say so, well besides Honda :D
