well if you want it faster than him put some stock tires on it...and get a 16t sprocket....thats for like drag racing stuff.... :ermm:

Trails, a tight MX track, the only other thing you can do is try making is DS slower and less powerful.... You're closest bet to making your ATV faster and more powerful is a 500CC kit, pipe, cams, air filter, a lot of weight cutting...

dude, there is always something faster out there. These are different bikes, so one is faster @ this and the other is faster @ that. Buy a ds 650 if you want to be as fast or faster across a flat or drag. A CR500 is really fast also!

yeh man accept the fact you cant always have the fastest qaud. i me jezz i was riding today and my rendeck buddies got a 440 that wipped the **** outa my 408ex in a drag but i am alot better rider then him so i killed him on the track like he was a poser on a hondatrx90 trying to go onto the mx track and keep up with john natiale :D . anyways like the kid before me a cr500 is fast. i rode my buddies and boy ohh boy does that thing have arm ripping power!! :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

ya cr500s are scary fast. depends where you ride but in anything wide open you WONT beat a ds. They might be heavy but they rip alot harder than the ex.

The best way to beat him is not by making yours faster or any better. Or by you riding trails or mx tracks. The best way to beat him is to put a hole in all his tires so it leaks out while hes racing you, then you just pull away. haha thats what i would do.

hey dude no problem, I wasn't offended at all.
Sometimes I like to think I still got it a bit on the dirt. I know I had bigger balls on the quads back in the day when I had my 250r. Now with 3 boys, ages 2,4,6 now riding, my style has changed. Makes me feel like a kid. Enough ramblin on.

long live the 250r. i thought i was fast today riding agianst a kid with a 440ex then another buddy came along on his 250 and did a 5th gear wheelie right by me like i was standing still!!!!!
