Tierod issue

Hey I am putting my front end back together and I'm trying to get my tierods back in my spindles and I got them in but when I go to tighten the nut it turns the threads in the ball joint, like the nut doesn't move on the threads it moves the ball joint with it so it won't tighten, do you know how to get them tight?

you can hold the top side with a 14mm wrench, if you push the boot up a little bit you will see a round collar that has 2 flat spots at the top of the bolt to put the wrench on.
