We are planning on a spring ride at Hatfield-McCoy, but they say you must have a spark arrestor. My exhaust does not have one, any ideas as to what I can do about this?

id see if u could find one online
or just get some like wire and weld it and find away to bolt it up
all u need is something to break up the flames comin out

Actually ditched that exhaust, and ordered a complete DG system, but I don't know if it includes a spark arrestor or not. Anyone know how strict Hatfield-McCoy is on the issue? I thought about putting a piece of stainless in there that looks like a spark arrestor.

cut some mesh wire so you can fit it in there and that is a spark arrestor right guys

It's not actually a spark arrestor. I would just contact the manufacturer and order a spark arrestor that is USFS approved and is made for your system. That will insure a good fit and proper functionality of the part. There's no use to get a ticket or to lose a day of riding because of a $20 sparky.;)

$20 dollars would be fine for a spark arrestor, but the only ones I can find are $60-$70.
