cold blooded 300ex

my 04 300ex starts really cold and takes a long time to warm up. does anyone know how engine mods may affect warm up time?

up your pilot jet to a 40 and it will start alot easier.

I use an electric Power Thaw magnetic block heater and it works great.

Got your air bypass screw turned out too far.. making it too lean at idle.

Outside of that, expect 5 full minutes of warmup. You're not running an EFI system.. carbuerated engines don't like to run cold. Especially if you're already a tad lean. (cold air makes it lean, that's why you have a choke).
