Atvriders.com CSI version

Thieves attempted to steal the POS as the bar on the chain link fence is bowed from the weight of the quad. Landing between the pole and hydrant effectively stopped the criminals as they were unable to free it.

sounds good anyway:cool:

possible, but it looks as if alot of debris has been removed. chances are the quad floated upside down and hit the pole, and came to rest between the pole and hydrant. foot prints near the qaud could indicate someone cleared the debris from the area to get the picture...possibly even get thier quad back!

you take a quad for a ride in deep water and she will roll over and float UPSIDE down.

That was pretty sharp Kenny. The water line, the dead grass, the dead tree limbs, the rusted quad.
I googled the name of the street in the pic and look where North Claiborne Avenue comes up , New Orleans, LA 70117!

Quote from a article about New Orleans Flooding:

Orleans Breaking News
Saturday, October 08, 2005

Lower 9th residents' wait stretches on
Plan for re-entry is under construction
Structures seem OK below North Claiborne. Some low-lying sections above North Claiborne Avenue still held small ponds of water Friday, though most streets had been emptied by St. Bernard Parish pumps, Jackson said. All seven pumps at the Florida Avenue station still were at least two weeks from being operational, she said, adding that four temporary pumps installed by the Corps were ridding the area of its last patches of floodwater Friday.
