I just put a new set of Maxxis Razr's (M931 on front and M932 on rear) on my 400ex. As soon as I did, I noticed the steering became "twitchy". It seemed to want to dart to one side or the other. Has anyone else seen this before? With the stock tires, it handled much better.

Is this common with these tires? I am running about 4 psi in the front and 3 in the rear.

if you will notice the design of the tire...it rides on the center tread on the fronts to give it better turning response when in ruts or mud. So yes it feel a little "twitchy" compared to stock tires.

Bump up the pressure on your tires a little. I usually run about 6-7 psi. I found with the lower pressure the steering becomes twitchy.

The twitch feeling your getting is because you have tires that actually grip the ground. They respond alot better to the terrain. Your stock tires were probley just sliding alot and not where ever you are pointed you are goin.

Agree. Bump the front PSI up to 5-7.

And it should feel a little twitchier, it's got much better tracking than the stock tires.
