what chain scrubber do yall use to clean your chain? i had a sludge away plastic one and it broke...thanks josh

doesnt the wd40 dry out the rubber o-rings in yer chain?

Nah, and I spray it with a good Chain lube after.

Take it off and soak it in mineral spirits. It practically cleans itself. Then go over it with a toothbrush and rinse it off in the spirits. Let it dry and spray on some chain lube.

old toothbrush and carb cleaner-wd-40 after for lube-it doesnt dry out the o rings

^^^^Basically the same method I use. Kerosene seem to clean just a bit better, but I usually end up just using WD-40.

I've heard people say that WD-40 will do all kinds of bad things to an o-ring chain, but I've been using WD-40 on o-ring chains (even as a lube) for well over 10yrs and have never seen it cause any damage.
