I have an 06 YFZ450. I need different jets other than what's out there . I have a 30 year Yamaha 5 star mechanic that does my motor work. He says the 04-05 Jets wont fit, and the Dirt bike jets and needle wont work either. He said that it is different. is this true ? I'm thinking that the Dirt bike needle and jets for it WILL work, myself. Any help with this would be great....
jetting problem is:
modes:
Hot cams
Dirt bike cam timing
Uni filter
No air box lid
N-motion full race pipe
now has a 170. M & a 52.pilot
The jetting is off, you cant adjust the needle. And if your not moving the pipe header will glow ! :(
any help would be great..
