what is the clutch switch for, the one in the clutch perch with the two wires connected to? if i were to switch pearches, how would i override the switch? what does it do, thanks josh

The wires form a connection to prevent you from starting the quad in gear without the clutch pulled in. If you go to an aftermarket clutch perch you will need to splice and connect the two wires together for the waud to start (carefull...as this WILL allow the quad to be started in gear). An aftermarket clutch perch will also let you get rid of the parking brake (useless anyways). You will need to install a PB blockoff on the rear brake caliper.

Yeah, they are a safety thing. Good for non-quadders so they can't hurt themselves but otherwise pointless.

I spliced them together and then wrapped black electrical tape around them and the clutch cable. You can barely notice it. Pretty clean looking.
