does it wire up to the key just like the 04 450r. u just connect one black wire to a green and the other to the black and white striped wire? then do u connect the black and red from the key together?

well i rememebr posting about wiring it but anyway.... all you need to do is follow the start/light switch haseness under the hood and use the long wire on the kill switch to tap into the black wire with the white stripe on the starter hareness and the short wire on the kill switch to a good chassis ground.

thanks alot. that one didnt show up on the search.
but when u take those wires that are plugged into the clutch to start in any gear u just take them both and splice them together and then its like they were never unplugged. i unplugged them before and yes i could only start my bike in nuetral

You only need to mess with those when replacing you clutch lever. Anyway, just cut the connectors off by the lever and solder them together. Then you can start in any gear. The only difference is it'll also turn the motor over if you're in gear.
