89 Suzuki 160

My front left spindle broke and its 110 dollars to get a OEM one. This is my old bike and only ride it once and awhile so I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on it. When I could use the money for my 400ex. Does anybody know where I can find a aftermarket spindle or if another bikes spindel will bolt up. Or any other sugestions would be great

Hey brandon86 in reply to your request I would certainly hope that your riding your quad on your own property when you are (quote) drunk and not on someone else property. To many riding places have been shut down because of careless people like yourself. It causes land owners to ban any type of off road activities on there property for fear of a lawsuit.
When you do get hurt (and it will happen) you will be taxing the local emergency responders and there resources, taking them away from someone that really might need them.
nature usaully takes care of it's self. Would a lt230 work?

I don't know if a lt 230 would fit. Do they make aftermarket parts for the 230. I know there aren't many aftermarket parts for the 160.

This bike has been flip so many times it isn't funny. After riding my 400 it feels like a three wheeler. There is a picture of the beast when I first got it. I put my old 400ex plastic on it so now it looks alot better. The engine runs great but I am a little large for the bike.

Naw the bike didn't have enough power for my taste. No I never ride with a helmet unless I'm at Finger Lakes or stunting on pavement.I have taken many a spill out there in that field but I have never even come close to hitting my head. I broke my leg this year befor I had nerfbars on my 400.

Not cool ?? I could give a **** less about that. The reason I don't wear a helmet is b/c there hotter then hell in the summer, there heavy, hard to spit when you got a chew in and last but not least I never think about it. I also don't understand why you care? Its not your head so whats it to you.

Damn everyone all I wanted to know is if anyone knows where I can get the part. All I got was people *****ing that I didn't wear a helmet and that I drink. Now you guys are *****ing about other peoples *****ing and all I got out of this was check ebay (not being ungratfull) but I already had checked there. If I knew I was going to stir up so much **** I would never have posted in the first place. We are all here for the same purpose to learn more or help someone with there 4 wheeler.
Ok that being said what do you guys figger the odds of the used spendle on ebay being close to the same shape as the one that broke on my bike. We are talking about a 15 year old bike here.

im pretty sure the spindles for the newer models will fit the old models. i think they made the 160's to '03 or '04
