wires?

ok since i took my pb off and put my blockoff on i got a new perch 2day,put it on but something on the stock perch had 2wires connected to it held on my a screw and the wires were in a little black box?i didnt want to cut the wires until i make sure its ok?what do they go too?right now they just dangle on my bars...

they go to the safety switch..if you leave them unhooked it will only start in neutral.. if you wire them together it will start any time you push the start button.. mine are wired together..;)

o ok so if i cut them and splice them together it will start in any gear?thanks alot sickmojave
