400EX Oil Screen

How the heck do you guys get this part loose? I tried and tried but I could not budge it and I did not want to mess up my oil tank. Don't worry, I have done a search and came up with nothing......:confused:

well the manual says that it will just unscrew after you take the oil line off.. there is an Oring behind it too..

yeah, I read the manual, but that SOB would not budge when I tried to get it off...plus there is no room right there to do Shiznit! :grr:

I had the same problem with mine, the first time I tried to do it I slightly tweaked the tank... So I gave up and left it... I ended up getting it done on a hot summer day... I didn't want to heat it up, but when I was hotish from a bit of riding and the weather I tried and managed to get it off... It turned out nothing was in the screen anyways...

So my only answer is heat... Sorry... But atleast you're not the only one...
