426 vs 416

how do 426 ex compare to a 416

the 416 i used to have was a wiseco with a stage 2 hot cam with 11:1 compression
and this 426 im thinking about getting has a port and polished head by sparks a wiseco 426 piston 10:1 compression with a sparks cam as well

I think it would be a close race, did you have an exaust system on the 416?

the 426 is usually torquier than a 416 due to the increased displacement. i love my 426 and personally think it is the way to go, but i have not had much experience with a 416.

i have a 416 and it is fine. havent raced against a 426.

but from what I have heard, either build properly can beat the other that may not be built quite as nicely.

I thought you were going to make yours into a 426? Decided not to?

I still am going to probly next year. ran out of money. found some more issues in my motor.
