How much weight have you had on your truck?

What's the most overloaded you've ever had it? I used to have a '77 F150 heavy half. I once brought home(about 50 miles) a load of shingles. Beforehand I calculated that they should weigh about a ton. When I got them loaded I knew it was more than that. I refigured when I got home and it was actually 2 1/4 tons. I had 8 ply truck tires with 50lbs. of air in them and they were still half flat. The old girl made it though.

I pull a grain drill with my half ton, it weighs bout 2-2 1/2 tons, puts the truck bout 2 inches off the bump stops. I'm getting a 3/4 ton before long.

I've gone across the scales with our F350 dump @ 21000 lbs and some change , you could'nt even drive over 40 mph with out the truck starting to wag. the truck 10900 empty , it's a 165" (long wheel base)F350 with one extra spring in the front and rear.

about 4600 with our f250 crew cab v8 gas. load of dirt in the back. double pulling with 2 john deere front loaders one on each trailer.

Well, I've pulled many things in my day. My little ford ranger can haul maybe...A 300ex at the most. I know, it's awesome.
