some one told me that when you change your oil you can put a quart or tranny fluid in with it to clean the motor. then after runing the tranny fluid through it change the oil again, and you shoul have a cleaned out motor
what do you guys think of this, is this guy full of crap.
have you ever herd of some thing like that

Instead of tranny fluid, put regular oil in it, run it a bit, then change the oil again, that would get most of the other stuff out. But you shouldn't really need to do that...
I wouldn't do it with Tranny fluid though...

If you change your oil often enough then you should not have to worry about and internal cleaner.
I have heard of the tranny fluid thing, along with Marvel and a few others but do not know anyone personally that has attempted it.
If you are concewrned then i would say first check the old oil next change and see if it appears to have a lot of sediment in it. if so then do a few quick oil changes as said above and that should flush any crdu out
