ahhhhh aight, i finally got my nerfs.... so now i get to ride my new 400ex rightttt. wrong, i had put some gas treatment in the tank to clean it out and crap, and now it wont start, we drained the tank almost all the way and stuff, then refilled it with gas, then we tried starting it, it didnt start, we tried sprain stuff on the filter, that quick start stuff, still wont start. my next door neighbor used to work for champion (spark plugs) and thinks the alcohal and gases in the gas treatment just fouled the plug off...... but we dont have a socket to get it off...... so if anyone thinks it might be anything else, tell me, or if anyone has any ideas......

Might of had nothing to do with the gas treatment at all.

Could of just been gravity, fuel filled up the carb and fouled the plug. First thing I would do is go out and order yourself a damn spark plug tool! how they hell can you not have a tool? lol.. whatever.. heh.. but anyways.

Second thing I would do is, just for the hell of it unscrew the float bowl cap (the give access to the main jet) and let the gas drain out. put her all back together and then pull start her. That should definately work, if it don't than your sparkplug is way foulded out and you just gotta wait for that damn tool you ordered:)

Yeah, try what nakomis0 said. One guy with a 400 said it wouldn't start, he thought plug might be fouled. He pull started it and it eventually fired up. I don't know about the rest of the gang, but I would pull it in 2nd gear. Also, order the plug wrench and put a piece of electrical tape on your tool cap if that's how you lost it.

Ok first off thats incredibly not smart if u were planning on not having a fu*&ing tool to change a plug...and second, it mite be that your fuel filter is clogged by some chemical reaction form the cleaner and gas which made clumps and clogged it...

i didn't know my 400 had a fuel filter but cr 80...calm down on the flaming
