How much does it weigh?

Hey, just wundering how much a 2002 400ex weighs. Also, my friend owns a 450r. He just put a yoshi pipe, and k&n intake on it. Other then that its stock. I want to be faster then him, whats the best way to make that a reality?

Your weight of the quad is around 380-390 dry and more when you add the fluids.

i mean , machine for machine you arent gonna make them run together. rider vs rider is a completley different ballgame

Ya two evenly matched riders on a 450 and 400. That 400 will get smokedddddddd.

if u want to be competive at all, this is what I plan to run, hotrods crank w/ hd rod, 426 bore, 13:1 comp ratio or so, full exaust, frc carb, velocity porting ( or any good port job really) hot cam, litened flywheel. and all the other small stuff, filter, rev box, ext.

then you will be close.

same setup goes good with a 440 I think, but thoes dont rev as quick. but can be good for diffrent rider types, but I like to ride in the high rpm range myslef.

what reallly counts is it will be about 2k

dropping 2k is no problem, but finding gas to run that thing is. Theres nowhere to get that stuff here.

hmm, I can illegaly ship u some race gas, I will just wrap it and calll it water.;) . lol do they check that stuff?
