Chain questions

I need to buy a longer chain for my new swingarm. Will a standard 520 chain work without breaking or is it essential to get an ATV specific chain? My engine is basically stock, so it won't be putting much of a load on the chain. Info is greatly appreciated.

You didn't say if you got a longer swingarm, and I didn't see it in your sig. A 520 should work, but if you went longer on the swingarm, you already know you need a longer than stock 520.
