well i was testing out my new blow off valve on the wya home from work this morning and went around a turn a little too fast.I was over in the middle of the yellow lines and out of no where....BAMMM right in a freakin mini grand canyon.Needless to say i need a new rim as it is a bit on the bent side.I hate PA roads:mad:

bummer man, you ever think of lowering it down and inch or so? That way those wheels fill up the fender wells and it will also give less body roll in hard cornering

Notice that it is an srt-4 neon. quick car, low price. thousands of add-ons available to make it quicker.
sux that you nuked' a wheel, but gives you an excuse to upgrade. kinda like breakin parts on my bike. Now if I can only smoke my top end to give me an excuse for that new 440 kit.

as for my tires,yeah i know.I had planned on lowering it but then i never did,so thats why i got 35 series on now.My next set will prolly be 235/40/18's

Got the HKS SSQ on mine, like the sound alot, never heard the Forge BOV though.

Be Careful with the 235 tires, if you don't have aftermarket coilovers theres a pretty good chance they might rub on the stock strut towers in the front.

24,000 for a neon? I don't care how fast it is its still a neon. Sorry I just don't get the whole deal with an economy car with a motor pushed to its limits. Sorry about your wheel. Maybe it wouldn't have happened if your sidewalls were bigger than in inch.

If you payed $24,000 for it you need shot. I got mine for $15,000 brand new.

As for the motor being at it's limits, in stock form it's barely pushing 13psi thru a small 15g turbo, put a 50 trim on it running 25psi on pumpgas and put down over 400HP at the wheels on completely stock internals, just replace the stock clutches because they won't last.

Yeah, and definately put some more sidewall on there, infact the stock wheels are 17" I went down to 16" BBS wheels similar to what are on the ACR SRT-4.

Still though, my next car will either be the new Camaro or Challenger. FWD econobox's are fun, but I want a RWD V8 next.

I got my 04 new for somewhere around 19k.

Oh yeah, I KNOW i need a little bit more rubber under the car,i planned on lowering it 2 inches,so the tires would have been the right size,just changed my mind.

I didn't really get it for an economy car,I was 18 at the time and figured why not buy it to beat all the ricers that are around my area.
