I was able to drag race a YFZ the other day...

Well my buddy has an 05 YFZ. no motor mods or anything just like mine. We both had 18" mx tires and 20" front mx tires. We went down to the end of my development ( no houses) and decided to open them up. We both started with even starts and mine got off the line faster and by the time we were both wide open i was about 2 quad lengths ahead. We were both on rev limiters and i was not pulling away nor was he getting closer. I may have been slightly but at the end i was maybe 3 quad lengths ahead. So yeah the 06 450r is faster then 05 YFZ im not sure about 06. Dirt wheels said so. Also these are same riders with same skill so cant say anythign about that.
yea yeah you have already known this for a while just re-inforcing the idea. Also here are some updated pics of my 450r trying to make it an MX bike on a budget (16 with no job hah)

the 05 yfz must be a lot faster than the 05 450r. Cuz i rode an 05 450r and there is nothing there compared to the 06.
