i bought a set for my 450 about a year ago. i didnt want to spend the cash on the pro pegs when i was just going to beat them up banging against trees while racing. they seem to hold up pretty well. the front mounts to the motor mount and the back mounts to the footpeg. i actually ended up bending my left footpeg back without destroying the nerfbar. i think they are worth the $$

ok, to answer the question, the Tusk Nerfs I've seen on an R looked really small and unstable. they looked as if i could bend them down with my hands. But you cant beat the price.:ermm:

I have had them for a while and they still look great, they have a couple of dings but they are holding up just fine, and you cant beat the price..and the tusk gas cap looks great to for only twenty bucks..

it really depends what kind of riding you do. if you ride motocross, $100 nerfs will be toast by the end of the first race. if you ride trails then they will probably hold up ok

I destroyed them riding XC, but I also use my nerfs as leverage to wheel around tight stuff.

Alba has the same nerf bars. They hold up good if you dont hit stuff with them.

Well I have the Moose W/ heel gaurds and i have only had my quad a week and i race xc i ahve had some pretty mad practise runs since i got it and i got big logs tight woods and everything else you can think of and for the little extra money if ur doin xc get the moose ones but if ur doin mx that is great they would be good, i dont think you would have any problem.

yea im not motorcrosser but i hit the woods hard.. i mean 10 bucks is a steal im thinking, they look good, and i dont need the big pegs, and the hell guards built in, im just looking for more leverage and a place to put my feet if i need to.
