Yami, throttle cables need lots of lube luvin.

I remember riding my buddies banshee to the restroom when the throttle got stuck at about 3/4 throttle.

Wet myself a little, while going across the staging area with the front end about 4" off the ground.

Pulled the tether kill.. didn't work.. lol.

Ripped on that twist throttle about 6 times, broke it back loose.. stopped, got off and never got back on.. lol.

You never notice the throttle is stuck until it's time to brake.. lol.

The rear brakes on a blaster wont stop it under power. (especially considering there's no rear brake on that one. May have been taken off after, but I don't see one, lol.)

Same thing happened to me. Only I was in my truck!:eek2: I through it up in park and turned it off. Cranked it up and it ran fine. The next day I took it to the dealership and they said that the cruise control had gotten stuck or something like that...lmao

Yeh that happened to my drag blaster...race was over..I went to stop,it revved up even higher,with a built motor is pretty high Lol...Needless to say I wasn't letting my blaster go because it was my baby.We both wound up in some trees..I hit the trees at about 65+,they said they saw me go in the woods,and when they found me I was sitting on my bike holding my handlebars passed out Lol..yeh kinda sucks

Ouch that sucks .

I had the throttle on my LT 250r stay stuck on me once . I was going down a back road , had it wide open .... let off cuz there was a corner comming and the bike wouldn't stop . Thank god for a tether cord . Pulled the tether , pulled in the clutch and coasted to a stop ..... pretty scary .

Now any bike I own will have a tether cord .

Sucks that your bike had to be wrecked so bad though ..... I'd have pulled in the clutch and let her seize a top end or throw a rod or something ......:ermm:

Frames are a dime a dozen and you can probably fix the rest off of ebay for about $20. seriously. Blaster parts are plenty on there.

yea it was in a cornfield coverd by snow... i jumped off and just stood there with my arms up.... i dont even think i can fix mine.... i just need a frame and front end... and of course all that time to take everything off and transfer it.... my parents prolly wont allow me to fix it.

yea jeff, i added up cost for parts for u, its around 440 from ebay maybe cheaper, and its actually priety easy taking everything off the frame, ive already done it like twice, so just fix it:)

Yeah, taking them bikes apart and rebuilding only takes about a day, i love working on them. i built one in the summer and the only help i needed was moving the motor in and out of the frame, ya know...being a girl and all.

just tell your parents you will put the tors back on and it will never do that again..:p

SOME odds and ends!
hows it goin guys...

i have some stuff laying around and iv been working on some of it thought i would see if any one wants anything.

1. i have a blaster frame, straight has some old paint on it but im sanding and painting with clearcoating if wanted?

2. a fmf gold series fatty with a graydon proline silencer. good condition few nicks on the silencer nothing at all and the fatty has one spot of very minior smudge...not a biggie.

3. i have blaster a arms, tie rods, stearing stem, axle, carrier, and they can be done same as frame. if you want painted and clearcaoted.

4. and i also have front and back wheels and tires 90 on the front and 85-90 on the back.

a few other things but let me know if anyone is intrested...

if you paid for the quad tell them that and then just buy parts and fix it up....then explain to them that quads cannot be perfect, sh*t happens and its hard to prevent it, the same thing could happen in their cars and they could crash, get hurt, etc....but would it stop them from driving becuase it almost got them killed? i highly doubt it
