I need bigger tires for 6" rims or find 8" rims for an lt50 bolt pattern.

I know you don't want to hear this but the lt50 is extremely limited when it comes to aftermarket parts and hop-ups. We had one and went through h*ll trying to find upgrades, eventually just sold it and bought one that is more aftermarket friendly.

does the lt50 have enough power to turn bigger tires?? I dont think so . Buy a better quad so you can get aftermarket parts.

We are not here to bash our fellow miniquad folks. I have an LT50 that has run on a 1/4 mile flattrack and beaten TRX90's. There is power as long as someone is willing to seperate themselves with some duckets. Aftermarket parts are out there.

the quad is a chinese 90cc 4 stroke with a 3 bolt pattern. i was hoping it was an lt80 pattern, but it's not. i have an 86 lt50 also. i will see if those rims fit the new chinese quad. i think suzuki changed the bolt spacing a bit from the old 50's to the newer 50's. this quad has power to turn bigger wheels. it just came with the same size tires as the lt50. i just need to upgrade the chinese quad a bit until he's big enough for a blaster.

In that case you'd probably be better off trying to find replacement hubs to change the bolt pattern over to a more common one. What's the brand of the quad?

it is a Sunl or Kazuma. new hubs would be great. I need one anyway since they drilled the holes on one hub off center.

Check to see if your hubs from the 50 will fit on the 90. If they do, I have a set that I'll let go for cheap.

hubs from the 85 lt50 will fit and have the same bolt pattern. where did you get the rims and tires for the flat track 50?
