Jody and Laz both worked on this particular swingarm. Here are some pictures compliments of JB Racing. You can find out more by checking the swingarm / linkage on their website-->JB Racing (http://jbatvracing.com/TRXSwingArm.php)

Be sure to post a ride report on that rear end when you finally get it. I wonder how it is going to compare to the Walsh Savior, LSR Outlaw, or the Holz?

how much are we talking for this set-up?

This information came from JB's website:

This newly designed swing arm & linkage kit is an absolute must have for the serious Honda TRX Motocross Racer.

This newly designed Swing arm & Linkage utilizes 5 inches of shaft travel. This amazingly lower leverage ratio allows for much lower shock temperatures during long hard races- giving you a much more consistent ride. With the progression ratio built into this rear end kit - it is possible to run a single rate spring setup for most applications and reduces the need for the progressive rate or dual rear spring setup that is needed to Band-Aid many rear end setups with poorly designed progression ratios.

What this design means for you:

More wheel travel
The correct up travel of the rear wheels
The correct down travel of the rear wheels
Plusher ride
Good bottoming resistance
Completely eliminates the kick that the stock rear end has from the shock bottoming due to poor up travel of the rear wheels
Cooler shock temps
Longer shock life between service
This kit is available for all the 2004-2006 TRX450R. There are also separate kits available for MX, XC, and Sand. This kit is available with a Elka, PEP, or with a Custom Axis rear shock.

Swingarm and new dual linkage - $1195.00

**Remember - you will also need a new rear shock for this long travel kit.

Correct, Tim has been thrash'n this set up in FL. I spoke to Jody. He said it was the closest thing to the CR500 linkage to date. Both Mark and Jody are really happy with this set up. I've got one on order.

It basically the Elka Pro Dual Link setup.

They all offer virtually the same leverage ratios.

looks similair, has similiar benefits and info as Elka provides. other then machining differences i wonder if there are any changes or if its a copy with a few tweaks thrown in:confused:

Don't forget Holz Racing has one similar to the Elka too...I don't know can you use the Elka on a stock Swingarm......the Holz says you can

I am getting a arsfx front end mx. But i am wondering about there swingarm and linkage. Should i spend the extra money and get this set up or go with a axis shock and gt thunder link in the rear and save some extra money? What's you opinion. Thanks Skyler

Last year I ran the ARS-FX rear end on my TRX for MX. It handled really good. It soaked up the little bumps and did not have hardly any bucking incidents. I guess it is in all how much you are willing to spend. Although it is pricey, it works really well. I would check out the Outlaw from LSR or even this setup from JB. From what Jody and Mark Baldwin tell me, they said that the JB Unit is a very good setup.

I think the elka mounts up just the opposite.. the black piece bolts to the frame and red to the swinger I believe.

very well could be, maybe this will eliminate the linkage from hanging down and getting beat on
