Anyone know what the best way is to remove the stem bushing?

find a large bolt that has a head the same size as the inverted nut. weld a nut or double nut it and use it to remove the nut and bearing.
i hope that made sense:p

I think it is close to 30 mm. You can use an old rear hub nut from a 250r, it just happens to be the same size.:)

Thanks for the replys I think I have an axle nut laying around i'll have to check
Just an FYI. Your gonna need a good heat source applied to that area. Because Yam used mega-ton locktight.
The bearing pushes up from the bottom of the frame rather than down, once the seal is removed.

How do you get the oil seals out, top and bottom?
