400ex FMF megamaxII exhaust question.

The 99 400ex I recently bought has a megamaxII exhaust and a k and N air filter. How many of the baffles should I use on the exhaust? It came with about 10. Should I use them all, just a few, or none? What will i affect by changing the number of baffles? The jets are stock.

I think that the baffles control the power.

If I remember correctly no baffles means alot of top end power,but less low end.....or vice versa.

So,if it cam with 10,I would put 5 baffles in to have an equal amount of power on top and bottom end.
