call marcums and say u want a JE 10.8:1 416 piston kit with gaskets and a Xr400 cam. the piston and gaskets are 150 and i think the cam is like 130 so its all like 300 with shipping and everything probably. that will wake your bike up a good bit and still leave room for future motor work if its needed.

I wouldn't get a xr400 cam.........they are lame.........go with a Web or Hot cam, you can still get a drop in and it will be a bit more agressive

Call up TC and get you a JE Piston and stuff just like rdmex said but get one of his Cams to go with it.

porting alone wont do much.

I'd suggest:

-416 piston kit
-good cam and hardface the rockers
-make sure you have good exhaust flow and intake
-Oil cooler or bigger oil tank (should be the first mod if you ride sand)
-Port and polish the head

Most motor builders suggest suggest to true and welding the crank if your gonna do motor work, this can olnt be done by people who know what there doing.

Curtis Sparks does it for $45
